Somatic & Integrative Therapy for HSPs, Anxiety & Trauma

Whether you are a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), overwhelmed by current life circumstances or burdened by your past, I believe you will find a special refuge in therapy. In this work (which sometimes doesn't feel like work, but more like play!) you can expect to gain greater clarity, gain a better understanding of who you are, and grow into a more empowered version of yourself.Peruse this page for more information on the most common modalities I use!Think you might be an HSP but not sure? Click the link below for a free self-test! (I don't only work with HSPs, so no worries if you don't resonate with this label!)

Trauma Therapy

If you have faced painful experiences such as neglect, abuse, or repeated invalidation, you may have learned to question yourself, hide parts of who you are, dismiss your needs, or put others first to feel safe and accepted.Together, we can tend to the emotional and physical impacts of trauma, reconnect with yourself through compassionate care, and cultivate greater self-trust. We will follow the pace of your nervous system, honoring what feels manageable every step of the way.

Somatic Therapy

Healing often involves more than understanding your experiences intellectually. In addition to talk therapy, somatic therapy creates space to notice what is happening in your body and nervous system, helping you reconnect with yourself in a deeper, more embodied way.

Internal Family Systems

IFS may sound like family work, but is actually about the internal "system" we all have a unique version of based on our history and experiences. IFS is about healing the wounded parts in our system, to restore it to balance and a sense of wholeness.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a neurobiological therapy that draws on the brain’s capacity to heal by helping you process memories and emotions that may feel stuck or unresolved.I often refer to Brainspotting as the cousin of EMDR. While they share DNA, Brainspotting offers a more flexible and less structured experience. It can be especially well suited for processing complex or layered experiences.

Expressive Art Therapies

Whether through sand tray, art, or dance/movement therapy, expressive methods can help us access parts of ourselves that words alone may not reach, creating space for new perspectives and creative solutions to complex challenges.

Absolutely! While I find a special connection with HSPs, you don't need to identify as an HSP to work with me. If you recognize yourself in some aspects of the HSP trait without relating to all of them, we can explore this together without needing to settle on a label. What matters most to me is understanding your experience and what you're hoping to work through. If you feel drawn to my approach, you're welcome to reach out!

I understand it’s a big deal to invest your time, money, and hope into this work without knowing the outcome. While I can’t predict your experience, I can tell you this: we’ll regularly check in about how therapy is feeling and whether you’re noticing meaningful changes. If something isn’t working, we can adjust our approach together. My goal is for therapy to feel collaborative and responsive to your needs every step of the way.
